I want prenatal vitamins to help my hair grow, because I’ve heard they work really well, but my mom said you can only get “actual” (as in real well working) prenatal vitamins by prescription only.

Can I get over the counter prenatal vitamins that will really help my hair grow substantially?

Or, does anyone know of any other hair growth products/vitamins that actually work?

Your mother is correct. The ones over the counter are not that effective. It is for women who arent seeing a doctor to help a little. You should see a doctor and get prescription only prenatal vitamins. One brand smells like vanilla lol.

I would use anything that isn’t too oily and thick. You don’t really wanna put anything on them because it will build up over time but after you wash them with sulfate free shampoo etc. I would put a little defrizzer in and let them air dry so then if you straighten them they wont be so damaged from the blow drier and you will already have basically smooth hair! Just get sow straighting products for them.
